Working with the Energy Transmitter

The October 1999 edition of the Radionic journal contained an article by Chris Dennison entitled 'Radionic Instruments for the 21st Century'. This article covers the invention and development of his Energy Transmitter, which he describes as an 'intelligent' instrument. Physically ET is a section of holographic material mounted in an oak base approximately 8 inches square and 1/2 inch deep; the hologram is covered with glass for protection.

The hologram is in effect a portal which enables the practitioner to contact what Chris calls 'nature spirit energies'. He has developed a method for attaching these energies to the instrument, thus providing a reliable and responsive connection between the human operator and the discarnate entities which have agreed to work with us. Energy Transmitter is configured to perform healing actions on humans, animals and plants and cannot be used for any negative purpose. The practitioner communicates with it by thought-formed questions and requests and the response comes via the pendulum movement.'

In basic use, the patient's witness is placed on the surface of the glass. Within a few seconds, ET analyses the patient's energy state, appears to know both what is out of balance and what is required, energetically, to remedy the imbalance and, finally, stores the energetic pattern of the individual in its memory. The practitioner identifies the witness to ET by the owner's name and it will be stored indefinitely, unless the practitioner asks for it to be removed. ET appears quite happy to recognise all patients by name, and, indeed, recognises the name of all forms of remedies used in the treatment process. It also seems to have no problem with working in various languages; I have asked for remedies to be given with not only English but also Latin and German names. When the practitioner has decided what he or she requires of Energy Transmitter, it can then be instructed to perform the required treatments, which it will then do automatically until the treatment is complete. Numerous people can be treated simultaneously.

Mythology brings us concepts such as Aladdin's Lamp, which, when rubbed, would allow a genie to come forth and fulfil the owner's every wish. Although no visible genie has yet appeared, ET demonstrates what we might considerof accuracy and thoroughness.

I have spent many hours discussing Energy Transmitter with Chris and he suggested that an exposition of my experiences with the instrument may be of interest. I stress from the outset that my methods have evolved from my personal experience and may not be suitable for others. Each practitioner has his own individuality, Ray type, and mindset which will inevitably create a different approach to the problem. But what may be of value is a description to be qualities of omniscience, omnipresence and omnipotence. It always appears to know what is wrong with a patient. It always responds within a second or so of being contacted - and usually immediately when a treatment session is in full swing. It always appears to know where a patient is; and it always appears to know what to do to treat or relieve a problem, according to what is possible given the nature of the illness and the Laws - esoteric and otherwise - which govern such matters. Thus it is the nearest thing to an Aladdin's Lamp that I have yet found. This having been said, using Energy Transmitter does not negate the abilities of the practitioner but rather - or at least in my experience - demands a much greater degree of the process I went through in getting the very high standard of results ET is now giving me.

On reading Chris' article my immediate, intuitive reaction was clear conviction as to the absolute correctness of the concept of Energy Transmitter. Irrespective of this, working with the instrument and getting it to perform as I wanted was quite another matter. I waited many months before purchasing ET and when I received it I could hardly get it to do anything. In fact I nearly called for my money back on a number of occasions. In order to get results from it you have to deconstruct your ideas about what is possible and how to do it, and start again.

My requests of the instrument seem to be familiarising it - or the consciousness which is reached through it - with how human thinking wants to solve problems, and its response to me has been to provoke changes in my consciousness and understanding which oblige me to go more deeply into the causations of illness and the approaches needed to resolve the problems thus created. There is also a further aspect, which is that discarnate human healers may work through me. There is the possibility that they also are using this link to try different therapeutic approaches to the problem of illness, which would partially explain the continually-shifting approach to treatment, reflected in the different remedies and remedy groups selected.

My approach to treatment began with Classical Homoeopathy.z Homoeopathy is based on an esoteric concept of health and illness, the Dynamis or Vital Force. When the Vital Force flows freely through the organism - from which it is entirely inseparable - health results. Symptoms are for the most part the end-product of an impact or disturbance to the Vital Force, which could come from any number of potential causative factors. In short it is the quality of the Dynamis which determines the quality of the physical body. The deranged or mistuned Vital Force produces symptoms concordant with the nature of the derangement, and if we wish to cure then we must first of all find the form of treatment which will dynamically retune the Vital Force so that it functions correctly. The appropriate treatment is the single remedy - or as we might put it, vibrational quality - which is homoeopathic to the totality of the symptoms of the disease. In short'a substance which will produce certain symptoms in a healthy person will cure those symptoms in a person sick with them', to which I will add, 'when given at the appropriate potency. '3 This remedy is known as the simillimum.

While the concept of a Vital Force can be seen as a common thread in many non-Western medical systems, the approach to treating it varies greatly. In homoeopathy the search is for the single remedy; complex cases may require a number of remedies in sequence (not combined), often at fairly long intervals, as the'layers' in the illness are removed one by one.

In present-day radionic thinking the structure of the human energy field is defined in much greater detail than is allowed by Hahnemann. This is largely due to the addition of esoteric concepts drawn from Alice Bailey's work by David Tansley.4 These concepts have been added to the orthodox model of anatomy and physiology introduced by Ruth Drown, one of the founders of radionics, and give an extended view of the human system.

I acquired my first Radionic instrument in October 1995 and initially used it to perform simple tasks such as finding the most appropriate potency for any given homoeopathic remedy. I then started experimenting with simple Radionic treatments such as giving colours or Bach flower remedies to chakras or subtle bodies. The idea was coming to me that all of these different remedies and classes of remedies were vibrational qualities which could be applied as needed to bring about changes in various negative states in the subtle and physical bodies. The normalisation of energy flow would then create conditions in the physical system where negative factors would be eliminated, be they pathogens, toxins, poisons or other undesirable elements. Thus I (somewhat reluctantly) prepared to abandon the 'single remedy' approach of Classical Homoeopathy along with the formal elegance of its methodology, and. considered combining various remedy types. This willingness to change and adapt methods may be seen as reprehensible by traditionalists, but to me it is the very essence of how I move forward. Not less importantly, such flexibility was demanded by the dire health problems of some of my patients.

My introduction to the Magneto-Geometric Analyser, designed by the late Malcolm Rae, brought me a ready-made solution to the problem of Radionic analysis. Clearly, Rae had considered the matter in depth when he developed his instruments. What was the nature of the difficulty (factor), which quality was required (correction), and where should it be applied to be properly effective (location)?

The Analyser is described in some detail in Dimensions in Radionicss but essentially the instrument allows the practitioner to evaluate the energetic state of the patient in terms of factor, location and correction. A list of the Subtle and Physical body structures and various causative factors is provided and readings for each location are dowsed and then written into the form. The results provide not only a guide as to what needs to be done and which remedies need to be applied but also a set of benchmarks against which treatment can be measured.

Now this approach to analysis differs considerably from that proposed in homoeopathy, where the greatest importance is given to the patient's stated and observed symptoms. With the radionic method we can find many hid den causative factors, both on the Subtle level, where we approach as it were 'spiritual' science, and on the Physical level, where we approach orthodox pathology and physiology. Such factors are often very difficult to identify using standard homoeopathic (or even orthodox medical) means. Nevertheless, the problem is always the same, in that effective results will only be obtained where the practitioner identifies and treats the appropriate causative factors. We may select a homoeopathic remedy by dowsing as opposed to logical analysis, but if the dowser does not understand what he is trying to treat then he will find an inappropriate or only partially-effective remedy just as surely as any other practitioner who does not understand the core symptoms in the patient's pathology.

As a consequence of using Rae's method I developed an approach to radionic treatment based on the idea of factor, location and correction. Often several remedy types were needed so that a treatment might consist, for example, of:

(homoeopathic remedy) + (colour) + (flower) + (etheric body) or

(homoeopathic remedy) + (gem) + (flower) + (respiratory system).

This would be administered using an MGA or a Copen (Base 10-type) instrument.' Thus we see that the original one has become four. It is this approach to treatment that I brought to using the Energy Transmitter.

In the instructions for using ET, Chris Dennison indicates that the instrument will work more or less automatically at the behest of the practitioner, who normally only needs to set out what is required in the most general of terms. For example, instruct it as follows:

'We commit this patient (name) to the all-knowing, all-caring, all-healing properties of this healing instrument for his (or her) subtle and physical well being'

He further comments:

'Please bear in mind that Energy Transmitter does not need to be told how to do its work. It just needs to know how much of the workload you want it to be responsible for. Say to it, ....1 want you to do this, or that, and it will do what you ask. Have confidence that the instrument will work out what your patient way of remedies and will give the very highest quality energy.'

My reaction to the above was ambiguous. On the one hand you can view healing as an act similar to pressing the 'reset' button on a computer. We see this in the simillimum, which brings the idea of the perfect antidote to the disturbance in the person; by administering it you enable them to throw off all their illness conditions at mental, emotional and physical levels. Thus you have pressed the 'reset' button to enable the computer - or the human - to clear all systems and start again fresh. You can view this, if you like, as the healing miracle: one action, one touch of the Master, one dip in the healing waters, and everything which was done is undone.

On the other hand you can view healing in a more mechanical, or structured, light - which is to say that parts of the computer (physical) or its software (subtle) have faults and you need to correct them one step at a time in order to achieve results. This has to be done in reasoned order due to the hierarchical nature of the system. Repairing lower order faults may be impossible if they are prevented from working by a higher order of problems. Since most complex cases do not respond to the simple 'reset' approach, I expected Energy Transmitter to work with me following the methods I had developed. I expected it to simply replace conventional radionic instruments but be quicker to use. So some interesting things happened.

I developed an approach which used the MGA Analyser as my means of working with both the patient and Energy Transmitter. The MGA device is used to work out the nature of the problem and the treatment, and its various analysis and treatment plates are also used to read back and interpret the answers from ET.

My initial treatments were specified exactly as described above, stating to the instrument, 'here is a list of three corrective factors and a location'. This worked reasonably well for a short while so I started asking it to do some jobs automatically, for example, 'please can you clear all congestion from the solar plexus chakra of patient x'. It would perform some of these requests but not others. I would call Chris and complain that it would only do certain things and what was the problem? After all, had he not stated that it would perform all that was required? Why wouldn't it treat any pathological or infectious state when requested? Chris replied in the most ingenuous way that it was the'quality of my conscious link' with the instrument. I felt a little miffed by this comment (he may have been right, of course) but buttoned my lip and resolved to keep trying. It may also have been that ET did not understand what I wanted to achieve.

The next step was that the list of remedies included in a treatment suddenly started to elongate. The initial four or five factors became eight or more and then one day I dowsed up a treatment for someone which involved about 100 factors. I kept asking 'is there anything else' and the pendulum kept indicating 'yes' and I had to keep going until I nearly fell under the table from exhaustion.

I have now done many treatments using these extended lists. Typically they include many flower and gem remedies, many colours, usually one homoeopathic remedy, and various other factors such as Sai Sanjeevini therapeutic prayers, John Damonte remedies, therapeutic commands and so on. Sometimes remedies were repeated several or more times, which I discovered were being used by ET at different potencies, usually ascending. Such extended treatments would be quite impractical to administer on a standard instrument, so in this we have a direct example of how this new technology has very considerably changed the way I work .

It is also possible to see how much effect each component of the treatment is having on the overall picture. Let us say that the condition being treated is shown at 80% deviation from 0 (normality). It is possible to dowse to see how much of the work is being done by each remedy. Some will change the condition by a mere one or two percent whereas others may move the reading by 40% or more. Clearly we may ask why so many remedies are needed and the simplest answer is that they are needed to do the whole job in all its complexity, not only to eliminate negative states but also to strengthen positive attributes. We have so many possible treatments at our disposal that we must take steps to understand why Nature has provided so many possibilities and why such highly individualised prescribing is necessary.

When the list of remedies has been prepared it is mentally 'read' into ET while holding the pendulum over the hologram. The pendulum rotates to indicate acceptance of each remedy or swings to indicate a rejection. At the end of the list I would simply ask 'Is there anything else' and if there was more I'd have to look for it and if not, I would ask it to proceed with the treatment.

When it started picking up on and making me correct my errors, I realised I was actually way behind it. It had worked out the answers before I'd even started. This, then, possibly, is the difference between our fragmented linear consciousness and the non-linear'awareness' consciousness of Energy Transmitter. This perhaps indicates how human evolution has to proceed, to develop an instant intuitive comprehension of what is needed by accessing the appropriate information and then to step this down to the level of concrete mind as a completed thought form. Of course we see such things in the acts of some of the great artists and thinkers, but it is not so for most of us.

The next important step is that gradually Energy Transmitter began to give treatments which it had designed itself. I would perform my analysis and conclude that a certain thing needed to be done. I would go to ET and say, 'Patient X has inflammation of the respiratory system; do you agree and if so is this what needs to be treated now?' (note that I address ET in everyday language and I try to keep it as brief as possible). If it agreed then I would simply ask 'please therefore seek, find and apply all required remedies and vibrational qualities needed to correct this problem' or even 'can you fix it?' I would then ask 'is there anything else that needs to be done' and if 'yes' then I had to find it and if 'no', let it get on with the job. Note that I always thank ET for each treatment that it gives. As I used this approach I gradually gained confidence that ET was doing what it said it would do. It did not work every time but as the months have gone by the success rate has increased very dramatically. I gradually realised that the key to this success was an improvement in my ability to analyse the patient accurately and to treat the most relevant symptoms in the appropriate sequence. In retrospect failures were due to me asking for the wrong thing to be done or the right thing to be done but in the wrong sequence. Thus, as stated, Transmitter has obliged me to increase my standards and to learn to look more deeply into problems. Here are some further examples of 'automatic' treatments:

CHAKRAS and SUBTLE BODIES

Clear Congestion, harmonise Unco-ordination, calm Overstimulation.

Eliminate Hypersensitivity. Repair Damage. Eliminate Miasms of all types, and their effects. Eliminate Shock, including Birth Shock.

Eliminate Activated Shells. Eliminate effects of Stress. Eliminate Toxic patterns.

PHYSICAL BODY

Endocrine system, Colon, Liver and many other organs - eliminate toxins; poisons; vaccination toxins; infections of all types (including parasites); acute miasms; repair damage; congestion; inflammation; unco-ordination; non-living deposits etc

I am however still using both methods of treatment, either dowsing up a list of remedies or asking for'automatic' treatment. I also dowse for the most appropriate of the two approaches. I have asked it whether it also selects individual remedies when working automatically and the answer seems to be that it creates a composite vibratory rate which corresponds to the condition to be treated. This we might consider to be a totally individualised simillimum, which brings us back to the original concept proposed by Hahnemann. The difference is that the name of the simillimum might not be Kali Carbonicum but'Nick Franks' bad cough'.

For those who are confused, let me give you this analogy. If we listen to an orchestra we understand that there are say 80 instruments in several groups playing various parts. We can break this down into individual instruments and listen to each part played one at a time. They will not sound the same as the entire orchestra playing together but nevertheless these 'simple' sounds are all indispensable components of the final result. On the other hand the full orchestra also plays as if it were a single instrument. It produces a'complex' sound which is comprised of the 'simple' sounds but is nevertheless in effect a single instrument.

At this point it is worth asking what is going on here. What is this device? What is happening? That radionics is for us established as a science and a therapeutic modality is beyond doubt. But with the advent of Energy Transmitter it seems that a new situation and a new level of potential has arisen. For reasons partially knowable and partially unknowable Chris Dennison has been brought to a position where he is able to join the human and the Deva (nature spirit energy) worlds via a communications device in order to help fulfil an age-old purpose, that of healing. He has also given me the following information:

'..the instrument (is) a honeycomb within which can be found the remedies: herb, mineral, vitamin, colour etc that are already known at the human level of existence ....furthermore there is a shaft of light that stretches to infinite realms which channels spiritual assistance to the operator. The shaft is also a means by which the operator can travel to explore far distant healing realms to bring back new remedies and techniques of healing that can be stored in the honeycomb ....those who have the inclination and curiosity to explore will find much to delight and reward them.'

The appearance of this instrument may therefore be an event which has in some respects preceded the natural development of humanity, because it gives us the opportunity to do now what otherwise may have taken many years of strenuous self-development with, even then, limited results. We may therefore speculate that is from the future and has been given to accelerate the present. It is here because of the situation. But it is also a test; a challenge. This is to say that using Energy Transmitter or other possible instruments which perform related functions, and bringing their full potential into actuality will not be so easy; we are building a link and a means of co-operation between two worlds which even now are known only to the very few and understood by almost none. For the many the only concept is in the form of fairy myths and folklore, and outside of entertainment purposes these worlds are largely dismissed from human thinking.'

Alice Bailey's A Treatise On Cosmic Fire 8 contains a very lengthy section entitled Thought and Fire Elementals. The vast range of ideas, the complexity of the information, the massive lists of correlations and the arcane language make large segments of the text virtually incomprehensible. However, I will select a few quotes which will perhaps give the reader an insight into her proposals:

all dense physical forms, whether of a tree, an animal, a mineral, a drop of water, or a precious stone, are in themselves elemental lives constructed of living substance bythe aid of living manipulators, acting under the direction of intelligent architects.' (p 892)

... in the human kingdom, though love is the fulfilling of the law, it is arrived at along the path of pain and sorrow .....ln the case of the devas, love is the fulfilling of the law without pain or sorrow. It is for them the line of least resistance, for they are the mother aspect, the feminine side of manifestation, and the easy path for them is to give, to nourish and to tend.' (p. 903)

'...the deva evolution is of equal importance to that of the human ....devas and human beings will meet as friends.' (p 911 - 912)

' ....as self-conscious evolution proceeds, more and more of the human family will become creators and intelligent workers in connection with deva substance ... he will be alive to the fact that there are living forces in nature ....he sees and knows the deva forces and can consequently work with them intelligently. Some he will control and manipulate, with others he will co-operate, and others still he will obe ... it is in the realisation of these facts anent deva substance, the power of sound, the law of vibra tion, and the ability to produce forms in conformity with law, that the true magician can be seen.' (p. 929 - 930)

Modern physics as far as I understand it states that all matter is in effect the local disturbance of the quantum energy field to produce what might be called objective reality. Looking at it from another angle, we could state that the physical world is force conformed to pattern by an information field. What is different in this view is the addition of the idea of information, because in physics, conventionally, the Universe is the product of happenstance and not intention and design. Now it would seem that thinking is changing:

'It could be that the laws which govern our Universe are unchangeable but it is a remarkable coincidence that these laws are also exactly what is needed to produce life. It seems too good to be true.' 9

In short, it now seems more than just blind chance that things are the way they are. A further aspect is that researchers in the 'New Physics' movement are trying to derive 'free' energy from the Zero Point field, which might also be considered to be the Ether, a limitless energy field substanding physical reality. From what I have, researchers in this field do not look at the organising role of consciousness in the control of energy, and thus it could be proposed that there is fertile ground for research into ideas which join the zero point field with the active information field such as is represented in the Deva kingdom.

What is different in Bailey's model is that consciousness as the driving factor has been brought into the equation. The Universe is not the result of luck or haphazard events but the product of conscious activity. At a very large scale is the work of hierarchies of consciousness perhaps too vast for us to comprehend except somehow by analogy with our own human situation. The problem and opportunity which is presented to us is how to learn, or at least begin to learn, to manipulate events in a consciousness manner. The 'Gods' are far ahead of us, but they still have, albeit at their own level, the same problem of how to perfect their creative intention. This is because, amongst other things, one of the vehicles of their intention is the imperfect existence, humanity.

Thus we come to a new definition of magic. Away with the ritual and the incense, the robes and the altar, and in with the idea that magic is the focussing of intention of higher mind and the energising of the resulting thought form in order to bring about the desired result. Thus science and technology are in many respects magical activities because thought and ideas precede action. Bailey would probably consider the activity of those who forge steel, or synthesise chemicals, or refine crude oil, as work performed by humans with the assistance of physical-grade Devas and Elementals, albeit without any awareness on the part of humans. By using Energy Transmitter we are attempting to work from a higher aspect with higher-grade Devic intelligences in order to manipulate energy to bring about certain intended results on the physical plane. Our objective is to consciously attune ourselves with these entities in order to perform acts of healing, but, irrespective, we still intend to manipulate and transmute physical matter - pathology back to healthy tissue - as an end result. Thus we hope to manipulate external reality by internal, non-physical processes. Hence,

'....the place of man in the cosmic plan becomes more vital and apparent when it is realised that one of his main responsibilities is direction of energy currents from the mental plane, and the creation of that which is desired on higher levels. Men, as a whole, are undergoing evolutionary development in order that they may become conscious creators in matter.' (Bailey, op cit, p. 952)

3. The potency of a homoeopathic remedy is the result of the combination of dilution and succussion (shaking). Broadly speaking the more'dematerialised' a substance is the greater its homoeopathic curative power, but not necessarily so. Find the potency appropriate to the strength of hold of the disease on the physical and subtle bodies is an art in itself. Radiomc treatments may also be given in potency, often to great effect.

7. Even so we should not dismiss the power of these things. Harry Potter, The Lord of The Rings, Buffy the Vampire Slayer and other very popular entertainments contain many representations of magical acts, wherein reality is modified at a command. Thus I would contend that the desire to perform magic - as it is called - is very deep in the human psyche and we may speculate that it is perhaps a response to the higher impulse.
