The course of a treatment progresses via different steps:
Together with a local warden or the client, the IRT makes a detailled analysis of the present situation. Some important aspects are:
1. the history of the area
2. type of soil and soil analysis if necessary.
3. variety of trees and composition of the stock.
4. possibly disrupting environmental influence.
5. maintenance.
6. damage to the forest ecosystem.
IRT also measures energy levels in the soil and in control trees. Energy levels indicate an increase or decrease in the vitality of the woods, often long before an improvement or deterioration in the situation is identifiable with the aid of biological data. The readings obtained from the soil and trees are therefore very important for the commencement of therapy and for monitoring progress. They provide direct information on the treated area by recording the present vitality level.
