"The most astonishing thing for me was the effect on an area in the south of the park, where all the lime trees seemed destined to die. The lime trees were almost bare. A year later, all the trees were full of leaves again."

Despite the dry summer, the amount of lush green was particularly striking. Areas in the Fürstenberg forest are now beginning to respond, particularly the beech trees. The conifers have improved slightly."
